After generating buzz by projecting a possible 80-85 catches for Dolphins WR Danny Amendola, Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald says WR Albert Wilson has been "perhaps outplaying all of the others in OTA practices so far this spring." Colleague Barry Jackson added that "the Dolphins have been so impressed with new receiver Albert Wilson that they have decided he can be lined up not only in the slot, but also on the boundary and in the backfield." Jarvis Landry's departure has left a ton of targets available, in an offense that returns starting QB Ryan Tannehill from his ACL injury. Wilson is a no-risk flier at the end of drafts right now, 1 of at least 3 Miami WRs presenting upside beyond their current ADPs.
WR Albert Wilson is expected to ink a 3-year, $24 million deal with the Dolphins when free agency opens on Wednesday. It's a surprisingly lucrative contract for a guy with just 124 career catches. Wilson did set personal bests last year with 42 receptions, 554 yards and 3 TDs. He figures to replace Jarvis Landry as Miami's primary slot receiver, with DeVante Parker and Kenny Stills manning the outside.
Chiefs WR Albert Wilson (hamstring) is active for today’s game against the Titans
Chiefs WR Albert Wilson (hamstring) is listed as questionable for this weekend's game against the Titans. He put in a full practice on Thursday, though, and should play. Of course, Wilson is nothing more than a DFS flier. Prior to last weekend's blowup in a glorified preseason game, he'd topped 37 yards just 3 times this year.
Chiefs WR Albert Wilson (hamstring) is out for Sunday’s game against the Cowboys. He’s averaged just 3.1 targets per game this season, so it’s not a significant loss for QB Alex Smith. Wilson’s absence does make WR Demarcus Robinson a more intriguing deep sleeper in a plus matchup.
Chiefs WR Albert Wilson on Wednesday signed his restricted free-agent tender. That'll keep him with the team for at least 1 more season, though he's not likely to present much fantasy value with Jeremy Maclin and Tyreek Hill leading the WR depth chart.
Chiefs WR Jeremy Maclin (groin) has been ruled out for Sunday night’s game against the Broncos. He didn’t practice all week and still has no timetable for return. Tyreek Hill, Albert Wilson and Chris Conley will again serve as Kansas City’s top 3 WRs. But none is a good fantasy play vs. Denver’s elite secondary.
Chiefs WR Jeremy Maclin (groin) didn’t practice all week and is out for Sunday’s game against the Bucs. There’s no timetable for his return. Tyreek Hill, Albert Wilson and Chris Conley will again serve as Kansas City’s top 3 WRs. Hill, despite playing the fewest snaps of the 3, racked up 13 targets last week and is the best fantasy bet.
Chiefs WR Jeremy Maclin (groin) remained sidelined on Thursday. He's an extreme long shot to be ready for this weekend's game against the Bucs. That'll again leave Tyreek Hill, Albert Wilson and Chris Conley as Kansas City's top 3 WRs.
Chiefs WR Jeremy Maclin (groin) is out for Sunday’s game against the Panthers. He didn’t practice all week and can’t be considered a lock to return for Week 11. Chris Conley, Albert Wilson and Tyreek Hill will serve as Kansas City’s top 3 WRs vs. Carolina’s 29th-ranked WR defense.
Chiefs WR Jeremy Maclin (groin) remained sidelined on Thursday. He's looking unlikely to play against the Panthers this weekend. With Maclin out for most of last Sunday's game, Chris Conley played 88% of the snaps, Albert Wilson 71% and Tyreek Hill 59%.
The Chiefs went with WR Demarcus Robinson in the 4th round of the 2016 draft. Robinson’s college career at Florida was marred by 4 suspensions. He posted a 53-810-7 line in 2014 but dropped to 47-520-2 this past year. Robinson goes 6’1, 203 pounds with a SPARQ score in the 55th percentile, so there’s some upside here. He’ll battle with Chris Conley and Albert Wilson for playing time behind Jeremy Maclin.
Chiefs WR Jeremy Maclin (concussion) is inactive for today’s game against the Steelers. HC Andy Reid said he was fully cleared on Friday, so Maclin might have suffered a setback. We’ll look for an update on his status tonight or tomorrow. His absence leaves Albert Wilson and Chris Conley as Kansas City’s top 2 WRs. Both guys are just fantasy fliers. TE Travis Kelce should see a bunch of targets today.
Chiefs WR Jeremy Maclin (concussion) remained out of practice on Thursday. He's a long shot to receive full clearance in time for this weekend's game against the Steelers. We just removed Maclin from our Week 7 Rankings. His absence would leave Albert Wilson and Chris Conley as Kansas City's top 2 WRs. Both guys are more DFS tournament fliers than season-long options. TE Travis Kelce figures to see a ton of targets with Maclin out.
Chiefs WR Chris Conley returned to the practice field on Monday sporting a sleeve on his injured knee. The rookie ended up missing 11 days with the injury. Conley is mixing in with both the 1st and 2nd teams. He'll need a strong rest of the month to beat out WR Albert Wilson for a starting job. Conley is only worth considering as a late-round pick in best-ball drafts.
Chiefs WR Chris Conley is dealing with a knee strain, according to HC Andy Reid. No word on the severity or how long the he'll be sidelined. Conley needs a strong August to beat out WR Albert Wilson for a Week 1 starting job. For now, he's just a late-round flier in best-ball drafts.
Chiefs WR Albert Wilson will open training camp in the starting lineup, according to ESPN's Adam Teicher. An undrafted free agent last year, Wilson tallied just 16 catches for 260 yards. But 12 of those grabs came over the final 4 weeks. We'll see if he can carry that momentum over to 2015. Wilson will need to hold off WR Chris Conley for a starting job. The rookie is a tad raw but goes 6'3, 205 pounds with 4.3 speed. He looks like a better fit on the outside than the 5'9, 200-pound Wilson. From a fantasy perspective, we'd rather see Conley win the job.
